Bar End Chamfering

Chamfered bar ends can be an important feature to ensure smooth indexing of precision bars through the guide bushing. Boston Centerless offers machined chamfering to specific angles and dimensions.

Chamfering capabilities:

• 45° machined chamfer
• 30° machined chamfer
• Machined chamfer offered on bars .375” diameter to 2.375” diameter.

If all you need is a broken corner we can also offer a hand ground chamfer which is not provided to any specific dimensional standard.
